Gear Up 4 Nature with the right survival gear

Outdoor survival gear will make your re-connection with nature a safe, comfortable journey. Gear up for a saunter or hike, full suspension mountain biking, alpine skiing, riding a snowboard, telemark skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and camping with the right survival gear and without breaking the bank.

Nature doesn't care whether you're color coordinated
Or if you're wearing the most expensive gear.
Nature just takes care of itself.
Its your responsibility to do the same.

Nature has no hours of operation...
you don’t have to rush, hurry or beat the crowds,
and there is no competition.

Avalanche beacons make the difference between life and death

First and foremost, all backcountry enthusiasts must be knowledgeable and trained on avoiding and predicting dangerous avalanche conditions as well as how to respond when one occurs. All winter sport enthusiasts that play in the backcountry should travel with minimally a partner and more preferably a group and each must carry an avalanche beacon. It’s a matter of survival. Here is how avalanche beacons (also known as transceivers) work:

* All parties must wear or carry a beacon and have it turned on as soon as the venture begins. The transceiver should be strapped securely under the outer layer of clothing, around your waist and or shoulder.
