The First Pro I Ever Met... Thanks Marty Carlson!

The First Pro Rider I Ever Met:

In Northern Minnesota (Duluth to be exact) there once was a snowboard shop and it was called "The Underground Board Shop."

The Underground was a place like no other...and at its point in time was the Mecca of snowboarding in most parts of the midwest. I spent my younger days as the "shop rat."

I was the kid that would do anything to get a discount, pro-form or an opportunity. In a short period of time I ended up running the entire operation. After selling Mason one of his first snowboards... (A Nitro Hazzard 132) I left The Underground to my good friend Andrew Pettis in 1998 for a move to Colorado to work with Perry Gladstone and his re-located Limited Snowboards.

And not to stomp on Mr. Richards Toes... But Lucid Notion needs sales reps everywhere in the US and Canada!

Seeing is believing...

And think of the sales meetings out on East Colfax in downtown Denver!!! Wow, working for a commission with Lucid Notion may be the best thing going for you.

Sometimes looking out our front window is better then cable television. If you have complimentary lines, a strong stomach and want to help see the strangeness through.... drop your resume in this inbox:

Territories available are:

Midwest, Northwest, Intermountain, California, East Coast and all of Canada!

Think you are up to the task.... let us know!

Denver Colorado 2007

Similar to the First annual end of the season post brought to you by your good friends at The Lucid Notion Snowboard Company a punk rock show of epic proportions was again the focal point of Denver Snowboarding Nightlife. However this time…. the show was in support of the Eesa RVQ tour and it’s stop in Denver.

Lucid Notion’s First Annual End of the Season Party “Super Post!”

Denver, CO

Sunday the 29th of April 2007 started as many Lucid Notion Snowboard Company functions generally begin. There is a meeting of the minds… a couple of beers (primarily for social purposes) and then it’s off to the event.

07.LN. Con.1

Last Sundays event however was no normal gathering as it was the First Annual “End of the Season” party for Colorado Snowboarding… and a Punk Rock Show featuring three of the best bands Denver has to offer. Lucid Notion Snowboards Team Rider Travis Limoge had to get prepared if he were to leave his mark on this one.

Lucid Notion Presents "End of the Season Party!"

If you are in or around the Denver area this weekend check out the "End of the Season" party being thrown by Colorado's own Lucid Notion Snowboard Company.

07 LN Concert

So after you are done licking your wounds from the Last Park Standing Comp come down and have an ice cold one! Once at The Loft you will find three of Denver's finest bands playing downstairs... and our good friend Meatloaf pouing em' as stiff as you can handle em' upstairs.

Lucid Notion Announces Denver Skate/Punk Legend LBRO As Its “House Band!”

Not to be confused with last weeks announcement, (Lucid Notion’s addition of soon to be punk legend Suburban Hostage to its team) today the venerable up-coming snowboard company has made Denver Skate/Gutter Punk Stalwarts, Lyin’ Bitch and the Restraining Orders its official band!

Yes its true… LBRO has become the official house band of the snowboard company from Denver that you are still trying to figure out. Lucid Notion TWS 20th Tahoe Super Post!

Late on a Thursday Night in April of 07 two young snowboard company owners set out for The TWS 20th Anniversary Party in South Lake Tahoe. Our mission was three fold.

#1 Attend the TWS 20th Anniversary Party!
#2 Get a picture with Damian Sanders.
#3 Rescue Team Rider Travis Limoge so he can do Superpark in CO this week.

Here is how we did:

We left Denver late and hit I 70 toward Summit County. A short drive through Rabbit Ears Pass and we found ourselves in Steamboat Springs Colorado and promptly stopped at the 7-11 for some refreshments. Once in Wyoming the very thirsty "German Ski-Doo" needed a fill up.
