LA backhills 5/1/05

On last sunday we made the journey up to the hills to see if there was anything left of the 9-11 feet we recieved this winter. There defineatly was,and alot at that about 8 feet in places. We know of a couple spots that are super fun only 45-50 minutes from downtown los angeles, this is one of them.Enjoyed a nice casual sunday with the bbq, some coronas, some b-lazn,homies and 75 degree weather cant beat that with a baseball bat. REMEMBER TO BRING OFF! though the bugs were horrible!

We made a sickder lower setup including a quarterpipe and a nice rail made from a ladder, with an upper setup with a nice double kicker line.here are some pics:

picnic in the park bitches!

So ya had if you had the chance to make it to beautiful Mt. Horeb Wisconsin last saturday than you probably were lucky enough to attend the first ever picnic in the park at lovely tyrol basin. If you have never been to the midwest to shred it is defineatly an experience and very flat.

Thanks to everyone who made it happen and to all the sponsors for your support! Kids were sayin that it was the best rail jam in the midwest yet. People came from everywhere as far as kentucky i mean i didnt even know people snowboarded in kentucky. The kids at the contest were damn good too and it was very hard to judge it but there had to be winner in 17 and under was Tighe Dalsing (im sure we will here more of this kid he is rated #5 in the usasa in his age group in the country) and 17 and over Justin Hovde(some kid that has smooth style and good tricks). Thanks to wawa and jamie for helpin out with the judging and thanks to everyone elso who made it happen.until next time...

Mt. Baldy

ELMcompany trip to Baldy. Since last friday Los Angeles has recieved 16 inches of rain that translates to snow in the local mountains. Mt. Baldy has recieved 9-10 feet of snow with Mt. High receiving the same. Another bankrupt resort Mt. Waterman reported 11 feet of new snow. Fortunately enough we live and work within 45 minutes of Mt.Baldy. Mt Baldy doesnt feel like it's close to anything. Oh ya did I mention 2400 ft vertical climb. Old school die hard

buried truck
skiers and riders are at this spot, the type you find at spots such as Jackson hole or Grand Targhee not Los Angeles.
