Well... I guess I'll introduce myself. My name is Grant. I've been snowboarding for about 4 years. I've been skateboarding for 8, and I'm only 15. Heres the story of my season.
My "local" ski area (its 3 hours away) is Wintergreen, the best hill in my area. Its an oasis of man made snow. Its fairly small, the vertical isn't bad, nor is the park. Although powder is rare, you can find it under the snow machines. This year I got my first season pass ever, although its limited, Only property owners can get unlimited passes. My season started at Christmas break, unforunately they didn't open until then. I got five days in over the break. The park stunk, they had 3 rails set up that you had to hike to get to. It was really icy, unless you really searched for powder. I spent most of my time cruising with myself, until I met a true local nicknamed "weasel" ,he is really short, about 4 feet. He was really cool.
