Blog Winners and the November Contest

Wow...this thing's getting harder to call every time. The polls showed Mike Estes in the lead, with JP and SBC close behind. Everyone had awesome blogs, but the SNOWBOARD staff is gonna have to call this one a tie. JP has already won a snowboard in the last Illuminati blog contest—we all know he can outblog the best of 'em. Mike Estes came in strong and won the popular vote with his entertaining stories and lots of classic photos, but he reps for M3 and already has way too many snowboards lying around the house. Instead of the board, Mike Estes and JP will receive the new 05/06 Premium Collection SNOWBOARD New Era Suede!

That means that the winner of the brand new Illuminati Snowboard is...SBC!

SBC killed it, especially in the final hour writing lengthy blogs that had references with links and cool graphics like his Strange Brew and Winter Predictions. Check out all three of these powerful bloggers:

SBC's Blog Page

Mike Estes' Blog Page

JP's Blog Page

Thanks to all our users who contributed to the blog page, and to Illuminati for kicking down a brand new deck. For those who didn't win—don't worry, there's plenty more contests to come. Keep bloggin for your chance to walk away with some new gear from your friends at SNOWBOARD magazine!

What will the prize for the next Blog Contest be? Grenade, Nikita, Endeavor...??? It is easy to enter— the best BLOG from one of our registered users between now and November 15, 2005, will win a prize. The contest will be judged by the staff of SNOWBOARD magazine. Tell us how you're getting ready for winter. Share some pics from last season or tell us where you're going to ride this year! Simply CLICK HERE! to start working on your BLOG entry right now!

Windells Summer FUN!

The Windells Campus has a sign out front that reads "Windells, the funnest place on earth." I believe it- with multiple skateparks(both in and outdoor), a foam pit, trampolines, BMX track and various skate features littered throughout the grounds it really lives up to its name. Here are a group of campers and coaches hanging out and another shot of the BOB indoor skatepark. Thanks to Andrew Vavro for the pics.
M6 Groms TV Step Up contest winners!

Sorry for the delay, we have gotten so many submissions for the Mission Six Step Up contest that we had a hard time chosing. So, we decided to have two winners: Andrew Sohikian, a 7 year old grom from Valencia, California and rides out of Mammoth Lakes, CA. The second winner is Nick Russell from Connecticut and goes to Stratton Mountain School. Both are great riders and we want to congratulate both of them!

Nick wins an outerwear hook up for next year (two outfits + street wear). Nick’s new team manager at M6 will see that he is working
in the right direction getting shots, doing the right contests, basically helping to put him in the right place and giving him the opportunity to advance. Nick Russell will also be receiving a one year sponsorship from Demon Snow.
