Trevor Rhoda & Parker Duke set off on an AZ resort tour about 2 weeks ago since Utah wasn't doing so well & we wanted a change of scenery. We stopped at Sunrise Park Resort, Mount Lemmon Ski Valley, & Arizona Snowbowl for one day each in order to make this edit & did all driving within the same days, minus the long haul to/from SLC.

A while ago I was riding Mammoth with long time locals Gabe Taylor, Bobby George, and Peter Benchetler when something of great wisdom and importance struck me–literally.

As the US Open is here for another year, Snowboard Mag Associate Editor Tawnya Schultz and myself headed to the East Coast a few days early to meet up with some peeps from Burton and get our shred on at Stowe. As Tawnya has never laid fresh tracks on the East I was eager to show her around one of the best mountains on the Ice Coast.

Snowboard's Matty V hit up the Ride Shakedown at Snoqualmie to get an interesting look at the scene. Oh, and yes there is some sweet riding going down as well.

The final stop of this years Revolution tour went down this week right here at Mt. Hood Meadows. Events included slope style, halfpipe, and boarder cross for both men and women. Windells Academy students Lucas Rodakowski competed in slope style on tuesday, and Brie Tiffany threw down some killer runs in halfpipe on wednesday. There was also a "best trick" competition in halfpipe on wednesday for both men and women with a $250 check prize! Check it out!

Evolve Chile Ski and Snowboard Camp Collaborates With Tahoe Dangerzone
Nick Visconti and Crew to Film from Chile

CHILE – Evolve Chile Ski and Snowboard Camp is teaming up and collaborating with world-class snowboarder Nick Visconti and the Tahoe Dangerzone video crew for the 2010 season in Chile.

As most of you know, a magnitude 8.8 earthquake struck off the coast of Chile on February 27th. Just yesterday, Chile had an "aftershock" that was bigger than the Haiti earthquake. Chile's March 11 quake shook Chile at 7.2 magnitude on the Richter scale. The Evolve Chile crew extend our deepest sympathies to all Chileans, and to anyone affected by this natural disaster.

Taos, NM Hundreds of fans came out in full force to watch the Final day of the Salomon Extreme Freeride Championships. Riders and skiers stepped up there game and started the morning with a grueling hike to the top of Kochina Peak.

“Copy and paste,” said Patrick Bernier, one of the creators of the Shakedown. Bernier was referring to the formula him and his partner Brendan O-Dowd used for the first Ride Shakedown event in the U.S.- one of the most influential and popular snowboard events in Quebec, Canada 9 years running.
