Besides the stylish architecture and sophisticated people, there’s a beautiful lake, Lake Zürich, or Zürisee, that runs through the middle of the city and people go there to walk along its shores, swim, sunbathe and hang out. The boys from Absinthe, with a little help from their friends and snowboarding family, will criss-cross the US and Canada screening the new project by Justin Hostynek, Patrick Armbruster & company. The SOI tour takes an environmentally responsible approach to bringing the anticipation of winter to art house theaters around the globe. Absinthe will tour North America and Europe to spread awareness of environmental and social issues important to all snowboarders and will donate $2 of every ticket sold to support non-profit social and environmental organizations. Everyone is asked to do their part to reduce our carbon footprint and help the cause by using alternate transport to these events- walk, bike, skate, hop the train or carpool- it matters to us all. Denver got to see the premier of Absinthe Films’ next movie, Neverland this past weekend. Absinthe brought along riders Mark Frank Montoya, DCP, Mark Carter, Dan Brisse and Justin Hostynek of Absinthe to help throw it down. The premier sold out but that didn’t stop the crew from Absinthe from opening another theater so that everyone that wanted to see the movie. After the premier the crew went over to Shag for the official after party which was attended by everyone from Absinthe. It was a great time for sure. |
