It is right around that time of year when snow starts to melt, sun starts to come out and sadly, resorts begin to close. But here at Mt. Hood, that is far from happening. Sure its the time of year in Oregon when days are full of sunshine, birds are chirping, and it feels amazing to throw on a t shirt to go outside, but that just means more outdoor time to skate and bike after the mountain! Last week the students of Windells Academy rode powder ALL WEEK long. Timberline even had Palmer, (their highest lift on the mountain) open.

It was sunny and sick all week at Windells during Session Three and campers were getting after it up on Mount Hood. Pow Gloves stopped by the Windells park to put on Maximus Corrogatis, a fun jam on the corrugated pipe. The diggers had set the pipe with a kick upward at the end and with a bit of a curve, so campers and coaches were boosting off the pipe getting all tricky and what not. Check out the video, it’s almost as good as being up there.

Another summer week has gone by and Session Two just wrapped up at Windells. The campers have caught their flights back home, most of them paying extra luggage fees for the new bags of tricks they picked up while at Mount Hood. Zing!
