It’s time to give away a pair of fresh new Republic Bindings and all you have to do is send us three rules you live by that we can use to draft a Republic of Forum Code of Conduct. Things like “never pay $90 for a lift ticket” or “don’t get high on your own supply” and “there ARE friends on a pow day” all make the cut.

Win a Forum Manual

Posted on January 15 2010 at 10:14am by Press Release

Forum_Manual_Contest.jpg

While it’s still a bit early for big jumps, there’s a good amount of snow in most major cities making urban spots a go. The team is out shooting as we speak, so we were thinking it would be a good time to hook you up with a chance to win a Manual for your own urban missions. All you have to do is send us your best action shots: hitting rails, ledges, walls, roof gaps … basically anything that isn’t at a resort, and the board could be yours!

Ahoy Mateys ... Who you be calling a Scallywag? Everyone loves mustache rides and everyone should love riding with a mustache. Study up the finer details of pirate mustachery on the Scallywag and then start growing. The contest kicks off December 14th with all submissions due December 21st. Send in your mustache photos to forum@theprogram.com and win a new 155 Scallywag with ChillyDog continuous rocker. Runner-ups will get buckets of sand and/or scarvy. This is open to anyone – ladies, don’t be shy. We’ll even take entries of painted-on, drawn-on, or tattooed mustaches. Start growing! Drinking ale, soaking in salt water, singing pirate chanteys and saying words like yarrrggghh, ahoy, matey and shiver me timbers will help.

Snowboarding is one of the most popular things to learn these days, and I think I can shed some light on why. The feeling of snowboarding is exhilarating, it's one of the most cleansing feelings I have ever felt in my life. By the fourth time you go snowboarding you are forever hooked. You will spend most of your free time in the winter experiencing that feeling, and even pushing yourself to progress in the art form of snowboarding. Hands down snowboarding is one of the most fun things that you may experience in this short journey we call life.
