ABOUT STEVE HARRINGTON:
Steven Harrington lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. Influenced by Time Life encyclopedias from 1965 through 1972, thrift stores and the '60s psych sounds of The Moody Blues, his art might be termed "contextual objectivism." That is, each piece is created as a tangible object symbiotically defined of a larger context. In addition to producing commissioned and self-inspired works, Harrington operates National Forest Design with fellow artist Justin Krietemeyer.

About the board:

Memento Mori
MSRP: $399
The Memento Mori is a true directional and one of the lightest boards you will ever ride! This lightweight dominator uses our E.S.P Ultra core matrix to allow for perfect swing weight during spins. It combines a bamboo and X Wood core with TTX glass to deliver lightweight performance. The X Wood core is a super lightweight wood that is strong as poplar.

The bamboo (TERRA WALLS) sidewalls provide extra snap, reduced weight, high tensile strength and side impact protection. Bamboo sidewalls also allow for solid energy transfer down the edge of the board so that you have unsurpassed grip in the iciest of conditions.

The combination of the E.S.P. Ultra Core and the TERRA WALLS results in a strong, responsive, and lightweight freeride deck that is comparable to decks made by other companies that cost hundreds more than the Memento Mori.

What does this mean for you? A premium freeriding stick that you can afford. This board is the choice for the tech savvy rider out there that demands a top performing freeride board at a price that you can’t refuse.

You can see the full collection January 28 – Feb 1 in Denver, CO at the SIA Tradeshow at the Monument Snowboards booth (#2319).

About Monument Snowboards:
Each year we curate an ever-growing pedigree of artists to create site-specific art and deliver the highest quality product on the market. Turning our back to momentary trends, vapid graphic design and company branding, we focus on the visual impact and technical superiority of our boards. Everything we produce is created hand in hand with a roster of established and emerging artists in an attempt to infuse art into the world around us. Our dedication to provide premium products drives us to search for new and unique approaches to enhance riders' snowboard lifestyles worldwide. Started in 2001, based on a collective of Mid-Atlantic artists, MNMNT was started and driven by art. Providing unique products to riders. Today, that collective is worldwide, with many artists across the globe contributing to our vision. While many companies have changed their direction based on the industry trends, MNMNT has stayed true to its beginnings.
