Frankenreiter to Play Valentine’s Day Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert February 14, 2010

Aspen/Snowmass, Colo., January 19, 2010 – Donavon Frankenreiter will be bringing the love to Snowmass base village for a FREE Valentine’s Day Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert at 6 p.m. on February 14, 2010.

Frankenreiter is known for his soulful surfer rock sounds, including his first hit “Free,” in collaboration with long-time surfing buddy and friend Jack Johnson as well as more recent hits such as “Move By Yourself” and “Life, Love and Laughter.”

“Donavon is a perfect act for our first show this season in Snowmass,” says Deric Gunshor, Aspen Skiing Company, Senior Manager, Event Marketing. “He has an energy and excitement around live shows that is unmatched by other talent we’ve brought to Snowmass.”

The Bud Light Hi-Fi Series features five outdoor concerts that will be held during key times throughout the season. All talent is booked in partnership with Belly Up Aspen. John Popper Project featuring DJ Logic kicked off the Hi-Fi Series this November and upcoming concert dates include: January 30 with Ghostland Observatory, February 14 with Donovan Frankenreiter as well as March 21 and March 26 – with those last two performers still to be announced. Past performers include Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Galactic, North Mississippi Allstars, De La Soul and more. Stay tuned for announcements on upcoming artists for this season’s series.
