A snowboarding documentary directed by Miikka Niemi will be rewarded as the best Action Sports Film on 26th of February in Mammoth Lake, California.

” It is great that long work of many people with the Scrapbook Project gets recognition through this kind of reward. It´s over a year since the film came out and it has opened many good opportunities for myself and my production company Flatlight Films. I believe that this film has brought good things for its viewers and also for the whole production team as later achievements and works. “ says Miikka Niemi, the director of The Scrapbook Project.

The Scrapbook Project is produced by Henri Salokangas from HDP Films and
directed by Miikka Niemi from Flatlight Films. The film was also made by Assistant
Director Juuso Paloniemi and Art Director Teemu Lahtinen. With its 400 000 dvd
copies, The Scrapbook Project is one of the largest snowboarding films ever
distributed.
