The exposure Oakley received last week in Aspen during Winter X Games 14 was all encompassing. In its best Winter X Games showing yet, Oakley raked in 10 gold medals and 21 medals overall at the premiere winter action sports event in the world.

With Gretchen Bleiler winning her fourth X Games Superpipe gold in her Signature Series apparal and A Frame, Shaun White taking a threepeat in his Signature Series A Frame, Kaya Turski winning ski Slopestyle, Oakley sweeping snowboard Big Air in new Splice colorways, Eero Ettala winning Slopestyle gold in his Pro Rider Series outerwear, snowmobilers Heath Frisby and Justin Hoyer claiming gold and Chris Del Bosco winning ski cross, Oakley once again was the most dominant force at the Winter X Games.

The 14th annual Winter X Games were televised live on ESPN’s family of networks, including ABC, as well as across ESPN’s many digital media assets including ESPN.com/Action and ESPN360.com. Last year, Winter X Games 13 was ESPN's highest-rated and most-viewed Winter X Games in history. The eight telecasts averaged 942,000 homes, up nine percent from 2008. Three of ESPN's eight Winter X Games telecasts, delivered over a 1.0 rating last year. Sunday night's 1.3 rating and 1,242,210 homes makes it the highest-rated and most-viewed Winter X Games telecast ever. This year's numbers should blow these out of the water.

Winter X Games 14 couldn’t have gone any better for Oakley. Congrats to the athletes and the team for pulling it all off!

SKIERS WIN GOLD IN SLOPE, PIPE, SKI X, POWDER AWARDS

KAYA WINS SLOPESTYLE GOLD - A bronze medalist last year, Kaya Turski took the lead in her first run of the women's Slopestyle finals and didn’t let it go. Turski’s run consisted of a 270 disaster, 450-off the canon, switch 900, 540 and switch 720 on the money booter, blowing away the competition. Grete Eliassen was the only female competitor to spin over the hitching post and earned a bronze medal. CLICK HERE FOR THE STORY

SAMMY CARLSON TAKES BRONZE IN SLOPESTYLE - HTT skier Sammy Carlson's run was technical, but a little less smooth than Andreas Håtveit’s, hence the 3rd place. But his bio 450 on the rainbow rail was probably the most dangerous and one of the more ridiculous stunts pulled on the Slope course. CLICK HERE FOR THE STORY

SEAN PETTIT STAR OF 2010 POWDER AWARDS - The man of the hour was 2009 “Breakthrough Performer,” Sean Pettit who took home the prize tonight for both “Best Male” and “Full Throttle” for his performance in In Deep by MSP. Once again Oakley had the Rolling O Lab in a prime location on-site at Winter X Games. This year Oakley upped the ante by pulling out the big awning and displaying more Oakley product outside with a big poster-signing table for the fans.

Poster signings were happening throughout the week and attendence proved the popularity of our athletes. At 1:30 Eero Ettala, Eiki Helgason and Heikki Sorsa did a one-hour poster signing that saw over 500 fans come through to have Tracking Eero posters signed by the stars of the show.
