The first big event of the Telus Festival went down last night in the Whistler Village. The course was open to a select few invited skiers and snowboarders, and involved a down box and four-inch down flat bar set up over stairs.

Geoff Brown won best trick with a nollie front flip down the stairs.

Molly Milligan ended up winning the girl's division.

Matt Dano won $2500 for the overall in the men's division.

As always, McDonalds kept it gangster with flaming barrels. They made for great hand warmers.
