Ok

First of all, both of them are very good boards. I myself have and 06/7 Stairmaster, its perfect for jibbing and rails, but it can also handle semi big kickers. the WWW is a very soft jib board. Both are solid choices. if your going for durability look at a WWW, they hold up. But keep in mind stairmasters are fun and cheap.

Prepare For World Domination

stairmaster

well first of all dont listen to the man named stuart that commented on this because he broke over 5 sonwboards last year and he is really fat and he thinks everything sucks except what he has. but anyways i would go with both! the www is hardcore jibtastic and the stairmaster is a little better on kickers

capita mayn

dude definately go for a capita man, ive riden well i guess only 4 of their boards but theyre sooo awsome dude, ive got a stairmaster from last year and ive put it through hell and its still kickin haha, needs a base grind though.. ive got a stairmaster extreme from last season and it was a rad like jibby board but it still held up over dece sized jumps too, so i dunno im down with capita i gues haha peace

i broke 4 u fucking hoe and i

i broke 4 u fucking hoe and i cab beat your ass in snow so id shut the fuck up...yeah and 1 of those 4 was a capita so ive had bad experiences with the company...fuck off

lake orion needs to chill out

lake orion needs to chill out and take a breather

go with the stairmaster

i rode the 06 stairmaster all last year and loved it and im planning on getting another season out of it. the stairmaster is a pretty soft board but it still has good pop while the www is like the rome artifact and feels like it is made of rubber. I rode all 3 boards last year bnecause i have a friend with the www and another friend with the artifact and i deffently preffered the capita stairmaster.

p.s. it is deff not made from bad wood, the shit is durable, even the base is durable for an extruded base.

softness

is the www too soft to land bigger jumps or can it can do that well also?

The Stairmaster is a lower en

The Stairmaster is a lower end price point board, and it certainly looks the part. Whereas the WWW, while also at a lower pricepoint looks like it should be more expensive. Full Die Cut topsheet AND base (for 06/07) takes a lot of man hours to build. So what if chinamens built your board, they make the skate shoes you are wearing.

With the WWW, you'll be getting more board than what you pay for. Performance wise, it is soft just like any other jib deck. But that and the shorter E.E makes it fun and agile. Which is always good.

stairmaster or forum street dweller

i would go with the capita, but if plan on bringin it to the streets, check out the forum street dweller

I'm with Tim, sort of

you should get a Rome Artifact. Yup, that's what i'd do.

plus, k2 builds their boards in China. why would you want that?

arty is the man

oy to that, i got an artifact this past season and i love it, the nose and tail are super buttery while the middle is stiff for kinks and what not. although im possilby thinking of buying either a kink, stairmaster, a new forecast board for my next years "resort" board and just using my artifact as a street board.

btw, the artifact isnt too bad on jumps. ive been doin better on jumps ever since i got it.

cause you can get a better qu

cause you can get a better quality board for less money

go capita

the stairmaster is sweet. get it. it does not break unless you are really really fat.

they are both lower end board

they are both lower end boards that are meant to be thrashed around in both the park and street.

what?

the specs are either on capitasnowboards.com or k2 web site

Neither.

Why not check out a Gnu Street Series?

- Tim

capitas

i heard that a lot of peoples capitas break. is this true

my Mid Life Crisis broke afte

my Mid Life Crisis broke after 2 days of riding, I would get the WWW cuz its not as soft as ppl think, still really good for park riding. And now I ride a K2 Union and its probably the best board I rode all last season.

Capita

I would personally get the capita. It is not made with bad wood, thats pure bullshit. The capita to me seems to be more flexy and is alot more fun for butters and all that shit. the www is something u take to the streets for a double kink. both solid boards.

I love my Stairmaster. The t

I love my Stairmaster. The topsheet scratches easily and the base is extruded (to keep costs down for a semi-disposable park board, I'm guessing), but it's loads of fun with great pop. The Stairmaster is soft, but I've heard the WWW is supersoft.

WWW

Get the WWW,capita uses bad wood.

yeah right

Capita uses good wood bitch. Buy the stairmaster. It's the best board for the $$$ - period.

www

my vote is for the WWW. it is going to kick ass next year!!

Check out the atomic hatchet

Check out the atomic hatchet - this is one sick sled - i got one 2 seasons ago for use as my own personal jibstick, and it enabled me to get my shred on !! I was sceptical at first, mainly cos it is so cheap, but my main man who works for the evil B empire in vermont said that this was the best jibrooni on the block and the board they were looking 2 copy ! Atomic may not be the dopest name on the mountain, but hey K2 are a ski company and i remember when no one would ride them cos of that back in the day + Atomic have got a whole stack of TW Good Wood awards. Stairmaster and Rome are sick boards but aint going to last you more than one season cos if you got the skills they are going to loose their pop pretty quick, the WWW is built by slaves and ridden by tools who think they are gangsters yet get dropped at the lifts by mom and pop in their brand new Range Rover - The hatchet is the way if you want to cut that jib shit up! (Cuts the mustard over the rest of the hill too)

Atomic Ski

Atomic snowboards is owned by a ski company too, Atomic Skis. But a company without K2's pedigree, nor the tech that K2 has. "Built by slaves"? You're an ignorant fool...err...tool.

xoxo mgineering dot net not com

Hey Hey my feisty friend, me

Hey Hey my feisty friend, me thinks you maketh a fool . . err /. . tool out of yourself !, my comment about K2 was refering to the fact that Atomic is a ski company, and if you knew yo shizzle from yo twizzle dizzle u would know that they are themost succesfull ski manafacurer in the history of the Olympics and Downhill world cup + they make a lot of boards for other companies too - built by slaves because what else do u call someone who works 12 hours a day for a dollar a week making "All american K2 snowboards" and then goes home to their nice old run down comunist project housing for a god night of sleep on a cold concrete floor( remember they are probably only 14 years old as well) The only tech K2 has is snazy marketing, which you obviously fell for, making you a . . WWWilly!

easy fella's

when it all comes down to it, they're both ski companies, and neither of them should be making snowboards. and he didnt fall for k2's marketing, hes paid by it, so he has to defend.

Greene speaks the truth ! - m

Greene speaks the truth ! - money given to Rome or Capita will go to a good home ! but if you are on a budget it dosnt get better than the hatchet, hey and i dont even work for Atomic. . . The suits in this industry get rich off the fact that most of us buy over teched under proven crap that aint right for our skill levels or local mountains cos its the coolest thing on the market at the time, e.g Baseless bindings, damm i spent a fortune on some Morrow floorboards back in the day ! Fact is what matters more, looking good in the lift line, or putting it down in the park ! (Having said that they do say you cant put a price on steez . .. ) Laterzzzzzz (:

Too much Bitchin'

The Atomic boards ride sick!! Don't believe anybody that tells ya? Go ride one. Anyway, last time I checked, most of the boards built for most of the big so called core companies, are being built by ski companies anyway. Who gives a shit if it's built in a snowboard factory or in a ski factory if it rides good and holds up.
