The First Annual Funner Slush Cup was held on a sunny Saturday at the end of July 06. Considering that Mt Baker has year-round snow, there is a lot of after season riding going on. I decided to throw a anti-contest to celebrate the end of a good season and the completion of Funner's latest offering "Smokebomb." There were no rules other than to have fun and to try your luck at crossing the river to one of the many snow islands on the other side. Winners were not selected until after examination of the footage later, with the exception of the big nasty water ride partaken by Lucas Debari and Nate Lind. The exhilaration at making it about a football field's length to the big island was a win enough for those hard workin' boys. -Dubs
