"Touchy" Subject

LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- Actor Vincent Margera, known by his nickname Don Vito in movie roles, and uncle of skateboarder Bam Margera, was held without bond Saturday on a charge of sexual assault on a child.

Margera, 50, was arrested Friday night after a skateboarding event in this Denver suburb after being accused of two incidents of sexual assault on a child, said Lakewood city spokeswoman Stacie Oulton. She said the charges involved inappropriate touching.

The event was at the Colorado Mills Mall.

The arrest was first reported by ManiaTV.com. Vincent Margera came to Colorado to film promotional material for the company. ManiaTV.com founder Drew Massey said Margera had finished his work before the arrest.

Bam Margera did not come on the trip.

Inqlings | After rant, Bam Margera walks out on show

Viva La Bam and Jackass star Bam Margera went on a tear during his weekly Sirius Satellite Radio show, storming out of the studio after a profane rant on Monday.

(Which means Bam ran away from home. His studio is in his mansion near West Chester.)

Margera was ticked about the case against his uncle Vincent "Don Vito" Margera, accused of groping two teenage girls during personal appearances two weeks ago in Colorado. Don Vito, 50, was freed on $50,000 bail on Monday and was allowed to return to West Chester.

"I think it's [obscenity] that he has to spend the last few days of his miserable life flying back and forth to Colorado to defend himself about some piece of [obscenity] [obscenity] [obscenity] case that you know that [they're] trying to get money. That's it. That's the only thing," Margera growled.

He told his engineer to play something by the Finnish band HIM, and said: "I'm packing my [obscenity] and I'm moving to Kazakhstan just to get away from this [obscenity] country."

With that, he slammed down his headphones and walked out, leaving a stunned engineer and producer to carry on.

Margera later said he went running in the rain while listening to death metal. He returned a couple of hours later, did 1,000 sit-ups and felt a little better. Kazakhstan will wait.

GOLDEN, Colo. -- Actor Vincent Roy Margera, 50, was formally charged Wednesday with two felony counts of sexual assault on a child, the Jefferson County District Attorney's office announced.

Margera appeared in the Jefferson County Court with his attorney, Pamela Mackey. She was also the attorney for Kobe Bryant in his Colorado rape case.

Margera, the uncle of "Viva La Bam"star Bam Margera, was arrested on Aug. 18 by Lakewood police. He was accused of inappropriately fondling or groping 12- and 14-year-old girls during separate incidents at a signing event at Woodward Skatepark at the Colorado Mills Mall in Lakewood, Colo.

MTV.com reported that a cell-phone photo of the alleged crime had been taken into evidence in the case.

Margera had come to Colorado to film promotional material for ManiaTV.com. He plays Don Vito in "Viva La Bam." The MTV show focuses largely on Bam Margera playing practical jokes on his parents and uncle, whose dialogue is often unintelligible.

Mackey filed a motion with the court requesting that Margera be allowed to leave Colorado and return to his home in Pennsylvania, and also that he be allowed to travel for business.

A motions hearing will be held on Aug. 28, and a preliminary hearing date will be set at that time.

channel 7 news, denver...

it was on channel 7 last night. they only showed the face licking chick in a foto, and her dude spoke about it, apparently it was his phone foto. they didn't mention the 12 and 14yr olds. as for footage i don't know. it's gotta be somewhere out there in cyberspace. that terrible channel MTV had a new post at one of their sites that was more extensive. fockn' creepy.

i would definitely consider groping a 12 year old sexual assault on a child... yeah he gets away with groping the drunken girls that are always chasing the camera on the show, but i think there is a line to be drawn. 12 years old! seriously!!!

on the other hand...

i definitely think this third lady is just seeking some attention. she was kissing him on the cheek... and if you know anything about vito he's gonna react... that who he is... he's always grabbing and licking and groping chicks that get within a 3 foot radius of him... let alone kissing him. she was proly fine with it too until she saw the spotlight that the other girls getting. camera whore!

It's his job

This guy gets paid for doing shit like this. Paid by the families of the girls like the ones he allegedly groped. And probably by the girls themselves. It's Vito's job to do things like this. Why couldn't the city anticipate the obvious risk and take appropriate precaution?
