Hello all!

So this is a blog? I always thought of blogs as political things and I never went out of my way to read them. I do vote, but.... a snowboarding blog? Now that's cool. Hopefully I'll be able to get some cool stuff posted up here, for anybody who cares to read. I'll do my best to keep it interesting Smiling

so, tahoeman, what do you do for work in the bay area?

About me

BLANK

Naww, not quite that bad. I live in the San Fransisco bay area, within 3+ hours of the Lake Tahoe ski resorts. My usual boarding day (impossible to call boarding 'usual' however), consists of getting up at 1 in the morning (okay, maybe 4:45 a.m.), after trying to pack and get to bed early the night before (which is code for 'I didn't get NEAR enough sleep last night'), getting to the slopes at around 8:45 or 9:00, and on the snow by 9:30. My Bro. and I rarely stop for lunch, we jam it in our pockets, it gets all smashed together and compacted, so it's usually eaten as quickly as possible Smiling We than board hard till the lifts close, and head for home, and usually get home at umpteen o'clock (well, 9:00 p.m), and hit the hey as quickly as possible, than roll out of bed at 5:45 the next morning for work which starts at 7 a.m. I've never done even a two day holiday, but that doesn't matter, cuz we have the most killer time every time we go.

I live at home, am 22 years old, there are six kids counting myself, and eight if you count my parents. My Mom skis (she just picked it up after 20 years, wohoo!), my Brother Paul and I board, and just last season, my Sister picked it up. I want to get my 9 year old Sister on a board this season, that would be so neat.

Our family are Bible believing Christians. I also love to Water ski and Wakeboard, Mountain Bike, Skim board, and fly Prism stunt kites when the wind is right.

Welcome.

I am looking forward to reading your blogs. Sounds like most of your family enjoys the mountains- nice.

What I do

Thanks for the comments y'All. I goofed on the "about me" post, that was supposed to go in the main blog or whatever you call it. oops. I work with a General Contractor and we do home remodels, additions and what not. We just finished a whole house remodel, redoing a kitchen, and we're currently working on a small dinning room, changing things all around. Than one day or so a week, I'll help out an electrician friend, who hurt his shoulder.
It keeps me pretty busy, more than I want usually, but I suppose that's normal with work!
Thanks for the welcome.
