And the Winner of the 2007 Rome Agent is...

Alright, we have come to a conclussion on our Rome Agent contest.

Here are the entries that were in the running for the board giveaway.

These posts doocument SBC's journey of a lifetime, from London England to Mongolia is a sub 1 liter car as a participant/cmpetitor in the Mongol Rally. Very entertaining posts indeed, however only related to snowboarding in a limited way.

JP probably has the finest, most comprehensive BLOG entries in the history of this site. His adventures into the Colorado backcountry have been nothing less than epic as is his dedication to tbe sport. Although JP had a couple of nice posts for the coontest, they were somewhat overshadowed by Lennox, LJJ, OVERit and Tahoeman

And the winner is...

After much deliberation, and a couple of polls, we have decided that TahoeMan will take the Rome board. It was really close between LJJ, OVERit, TahoeMan and Lennox, however we gave the nod to TahoeMan for the quality of his posts and the fact that he would really appreciate the board. Not to worry though, our next contest begins today.

Also Lumberjackjibber wins a SNOWBOARD MAGAZINE DAKINE PACK for his continued efforts.

THANKS TO ALL

I persoanlly wanted to thank all that read, posted and got involved in this contest. Myself and the rest of the Rome crew are stoked on such amazing posts. After talking in our office and discussing with Snowboard Mag crew we are stoked to Get the boared to Tahoe man. I hope you enjoy it. Rome will be back with another online cotest later this fall/early winter. I know it was a close one so once again thanks for all the support. Ride Rome

Oh my goodness! I can't hardly believe it, thank you so much to you all and Snowboard-Mag. Am I dreaming here!? This can't be true!
I was hoping, but it's always somebody else who wins those competition things, so I was trying to not get my hopes up over it!

Rome

It's interesting, when I first got into boarding, I was TRYING to do my research (not knowing anything at the time really), and asking around to different folks on various forums. Rome boards kept coming up, and everybody everywhere was singing their praises. So from pretty much day one (nearly anyway), Rome was my brand of choice, and part way through last season, the Agent 155 was the exact model I was after. It almost sounds phony I know, but that's why I about passed out when I saw I won it this morning!!! Do you have any idea how long I had to ride that tiny noodle board?!? Thank you so much Rome and everyone! I'm deeply indebted to you all!!
