I'm looking for new boots and I was advised to check ThirtyTwo out... I love confort and lightness but since I have size 11 feet, I would also like boots that aren't too bulky for obvious reasons. Are ThirtyTwo boots an option or should I look somewhere else? I'm interested in the TM-Two... Thanks y'all!
32 is GO!
dear dan, i have a pair of size 11 feet... they are light and sometimes smelly... i can't complain because they are comfortable too... i'm talking about my feet here dan... so when it comes to putting my dogs into some snowflops i've found that 32 make the bestest, lightest, compactest booters out there... i've recommended them to all pals... and all pals have thanked me for it... whomever has advised you to get a pair of 32 should be considered a pal too... 32 is GO!

go 32
Well...
Sounds like the way to go then. I'll try to find a shop that carries them to try these beauties on. Thanks!
I like my 32's
I like my Thirty twos. I also have the 304's and I absolutely love them, I forget I'm wearing them. They aren't uber floppy either which is a big plus for me. They are very lightweight, and I wear size 11 too. As for bulky? I can't compare to my vast past experience with boots (cuz it don't exist :) ), but I can say that the toe area isn't full of unnecessary "stuff" either. The tip of my toe is pretty much the tip of the boot.
Try on lots of boots for sure, but I'm happy with what I'm riding.
Am I a bit late on this thread :? ???

Well, I must say ThirtyTwo is a solid company. I started out with Lashed of last season(05/06), and they were great, but after some summer riding here in Norway, I forgot them in my board bag for a month, and after that, even though they still felt good, the liners smelt like corpse (I work at a hospital, and I know what corpses smell like), so imagining my friends getting all pissy at me for destroying the atmosphere, I had to have a little liner-burning ceremony. It was pretty. Then, I spoke to 66 about my need of new liners, and he had, by chance, a pair of 10.5 TM2s he had to get rid of, so I bought those. Those boots though, gave me pressure points, so eventually I had to get myself a new pair of boots. The liners were still cool, but during all of this, my right foot ACL was starting to hurt, so I decided I had to go for a stiffer, more supportive boot.
Talked to the wonderful people at Skyehigh in NY, and after some haggling, I got myself a pair of 305s. Those boots are intensely good. I loved my pair of Lasheds, they were lightweight, and like some other poster here wrote, I couldn't feel the boots on me, at all. The 305s seemed like a specced up version of those, and the comfort of them is unbelievable. Supportive, but not too restricting, so they're great for all kinds of riding, at least in my opinion.
Customize them all you want. Awesome boot company. Definitely support Thirtytwo, if they fit your feet, that is. If not, look at Salomons or Vans.
Happy shredding!

Arild is my favorite corpse-l
Arild is my favorite corpse-loving Norwegian. EVER.
I can feel my Lashed starting to get a bit softer, but they're still solid and hold me in tight. I might look into some ThirtyTwo Focus Boa's for my next pair if they fit as well as my current Lashed.
yeahbut
Yeah, ThirtyTwo's are bulky, but they're very lightweight at the same time and comfy. I've ridden the Lashed, Prions and TM-TWO's and they've all treated me right.
If you want a trimmer boot, look at Salomon's F-Series. They're so trim though that you really need to try them in your bindings before you buy 'em to see if the heel holds in or if they'll be swimming in your heelcup from the extra room. (Always try your boots in the bindings really, but especially with Salomons.)

also, checkout salomon boots. they are WAY comfortable and have reduced all negative space (bulk) in their boots. i used to ride them a few years ago and regret switching boots ever since.
thirty-two are cool, the tm-two's are maluable and are not too bulky. the drawback for some is that they do not use footbeds in their boots, so depending on whether or not you have low or high archs they 'may' be uncomfortable.
burton have reduced their footprints, so you should be able to get into a 10.5 or even perhaps a 10. the problem with burton, despite reducing some of their bulk from last season, is that you will be stuck with speed zone lacing (most likely, as it is on almost all of their boots). my argument against speed zone is that i cannot get the boots tight in the lower area and looser in the upper zone, thus causing the boot to flex improperly (for me, at least). people will say that salomon has their own version of speed zone, which they do, however it is more forgiving and allows the rider to get the proper fit (because of their blatter design) while have almost zero bulk.

Good Call
I'm picking up some Solomons from a friend tonight hopefully (if they fit) for this season. Those 32's caught my eye too a while back, but I never jumped in 'em and can't commment on them. Vans have been the only boot I've ridden and I'm stoked to check out something new. Solomon boots have been really well put together (looking 7-8 yrs back) and lookin forward to a great season with them.
32.
32 doesn't stand a chance up against a salomon boot. not much does. isn't this area for "my" opinion?! 32 suck. can you feel it?
///ultimate contour, flex and feel
salomons are by far better designed boots than 32, ride (which i believe are made by 32?), celsius, rossi...and yes, burton.
i just need to get a new hook-up for them...

oh yeah...
vans pretty much blow too. but atleast they'll be a company for many more years to come. as for celsius...yeah right. good luck. feeling it?!
32 are good in my book
I had tm two's two years ago and loved them. Then I lent them to a "friend" and never saw them again. But that's a different story all together.I've been riding Vans bfbs for the last two years and I pretty much hate them with a fire from hell but I have no boot whores on my Friends list and can't afford new ones.I have high arch on my dogs and really liked the lightweight and support the tm2 offered.I just realized that first sentence of this rhymes really well.Seriously read it again......see.
good luck with the boot hunt.
