We are proud to announce that Option Snowboards have just inked legendary pretty boy and Whistler local Chris Brown. Chris brings a new dynamic to our expanding team with a sharp edge, experience, and a unique approach to snowboarding. We all know Chris poses style on and off the snow. Chris has filmed parts for some of the worlds leading snowboard productions including Mack Dawg, Whiteout, and don’t forget “Young Brown Walsh,” only one of snowboarding’s finest films to date!

“Browner will not only be riding the best snowboards in the world he will also be the first rider to be head-to-toe Option. He will aid in introducing Option outerwear for 07/08, a small collection that will be geared towards the fashion forward technically savvy snowboarder.

“From interviews to covers, video parts to cinematic Hollywood feature films, Chris is a great addition to our team and we look forward to seeing what he has in store for us with Option backing him.

“Browner has been a friend of mine for quite sometime now, from the days at Volcom when we used to travel together to now when we get to travel together again. Ha. I have always known that Browner has something that not all pros out there are fortunate enough to have…STYLE and SWAGGER! I am excited to have him as part of what we are doing here,” says Team Manager Jon Roth.

“I’m stoked to ride for Option. Their factory and HQ are close to where I live and it will be great to work with them on board and clothing design. I also think that they make the best boards in the industry so they’ll be perfect to shred on. I’m looking forward to a sick season with the crew over here at Option,” says Chris about his new home.
