MonthRag.com Issue 9

About time, hey! 5 days into the month and the new Nov.06 issue of MonthRag is now online for all to see at www.monthrag.com

It's The White Issue. And why is that do you ask? Well, there's an interview with none other than Mr. Shaun White! Find out what he eats that makes him so good at riding.

Also featured as part of all this whiteness is an interview with Tignes filmer-shredders WhiteSpace. MonthRag got together with them to ask a few questions about their new release.

Along with all that, Potential Threat returns - with an instant messenger convo with 16-year-old up-and-comer Matt Higson.

The brilliantly named Chalet Corner features write-ups from Le Nantegue in Morzine and Momentum Chalet from Tignes.

There's an For Boarders By Boarders Event Review from FOTP.

The Showcase is still here, profiling 12 of the finest core brands associated with snowboarding.

And In The Know makes up the news side of things as per usual.

Well now all the happy happy stuff is out of the way, there are a couple of not so happy happy things to say...

The first being that we messed things up a little with the design of this month's issue. Basically, to view the webazine the way it should be for this issue, you will need to use the browser Firefox. Both Internet Explorer and Safari don't seem to get along with MonthRag so much at the moment. Sorry for the hassle.

Secondly... this one can be left for MonthRag Editor Tom to explain:

"Thanks for checking out the Nov.06 issue of MonthRag. This is the ninth issue, but there sadly won't be a milestone of 10 for a while.

"I have decided to put things with MonthRag on hold for the meantime as I have recently started uni down in Cornwall and therefore have 'more important' things to concentrate on. It's hard balancing uni work and something that I'm so passionate about that it really does take up most of my time.

"However, I will still be working on MonthRag quietly behind the scenes - hopefully creating a better overall format and concept for the webazine. Something that will be less time consuming for myself to edit, and something that readers can really get involved with and feel more a part of.

"I love running MonthRag, so it's something I can imagine going for quite some time - as long as I feel there is a need for the webazine to be there and that the amazing support given so far continues. It definitely counts for a lot, even the odd bit of feedback.

"Please keep any contributions flying in via the form on the Contribute page or to tom@monthrag.com - and let me know of any ideas you have for the future of MonthRag. If you find it easier, give me your feedback via MonthRag's MySpace at myspace.com/monthrag or PM to
tom-thrilly on SCUK.

"Remember that the Archive page is there with all the past issues of MonthRag for you to read for free, so if you're even in need of a fix then get onto that.

"A huge thanks to everyone who takes the time out to read or contribute to MonthRag, and to our advertisers and sponsors (OHD, Thrilly, Board 4 Life and Plank)!"
