New Snowboarding World Record in Guinness?


Stuben, Austria - Rad-Air Snowboards has scheduled a Freeride Week in the Austrian Arlberg's Stuben in an attempt to set a new Guinness world record for the number of participants in a snowboard race.

Set for April 14-22, a full slate of events will culminate in the "Longboard Classic" on the 21st:

* Sat.: Arrival
* Sun.: Guiding/Freeriding, tour in the Arlberg
* Mon.: Freeriding, wine tasting
* Tue.: Freeriding, tobogganing with mulled wine after party
* Wed.: Freeriding, Après Ski party in a private chalet
* Thur.: Extreme & Safe, correct use of avalanche beacons and responsible behavior off-piste
* Fri.: Freeriding, Celebration Warm Up Party
* Sat.: Longboard Classic, Celebration Longboard Party
* Sun.: Departure

A package price of € 878.00 for seven nights or € 975.00 for eight includes accommodation at the Hotel Gostof Mondschein, buffet breakfasts, afternoon snacks, four-course dinners, shuttle to and from the airport (Zürich, Innsbruck, Friedrichshafen, St. Gallen), wine tasting with a sommelier, an Arlberg ski pass, guiding and freeriding, and all of the above activities.
