Yesterday was Winter Park's opening day, Myself and Britney, my part time intern went to check it out. We left Boulder at about 7am and got there right after the opening chair. It was a blue bird day and no traffic on the way up, just a little ice. They have received close to 2 feet in the past week, so I was ready to feel the soft snow again. They had some jibs set up and there was a bunch of pow hips to start warming up the legs for this seasons sprays. Unfortunately they did not open the top of the mountain so I am going to have to go back this weekend to get some manly turns in. I gave the camera To Britney the intern and had a fun day of riding. Although Britney missed her quiz at school due to a semi spilling its pipes on the highway, she did get the job done. Photos By Britney the intern.

My limited edition Rome Head Room freshly waxed waiting to get it.

The season pass line was crazy, This time I could not find a way to cut the line.

Local dog Milbery showed up.

Big turn out!

We decided to hike a bit for some pow.

Nothing wrong with opening day powder. (Milbery).

Bob Holme the main man at winter park did a little bit of shredding yesterday.
