We had a nice cold blast where they started making snow like crazy but then the temps started rising. Great. Out West they're riding powder, over here were still waiting for the white ribbon.

we had a snow day today because we are expecting 1-2 feet of snow in the next 24 hours or so. It's a blizzard out there man and since I guess today is our first day of winter break (today was supposed to be out last day of school) I hope I can go up soon so shred some good pow. I went yesturday after school and it wasn't bad at all. Man I love the snow.

the past 4-5 years has been totally out of wack it seems. Whistler, Baker and Hood were dry as a bone a few seasons back. Same season Tahoe and other mountains in the States had more snow than they could handle.

Now here we are and we're lovin' life up here in the North, and the southern states (and the East coasters I've heard as well) are starvin for snow.

I'm not sure if you could call this global warming because there's still lots of snow to go around. It just seems like it's one or the other: a great season or riding man made snow all winter long.

you just have to look for it a little harder....granite peak is almost completley open in wausau and should have more of there park up this weekend.....and good news too, were supposed to get like 6 to 10 in the next day or so.....should be good times
