Moving toward the snow!

Hey everyone. I've decided that I want to move to where the snow is. Im living in Northeast NY right now and its really terrible, I haven't even had the chance to go boarding this year. So I've come to ask for your insight. If you could move to a city to get close to a mountain, what city would you choose? And whats the probability of a person realistically moving there?

Ive got a wad of cash and really low standards, I just need to find some places on the map to start looking through, and besides all that crap I really would like to honestly know some first hand opinions no matter how far fetched!

Thanks for taking the time out to read my thread, and for any replies!

SLC

move to salt lake city utah main. its about 30-40 min away from 5 different snowboard resorts. kick ass parks. awesome snowboard scene. do it and brighton is the mtn you will want. peace outttt.

yeah man, good stuff! I was

yeah man, good stuff! I was actually looking at SLC, the prices are pretty good on the apartments there, reletivly speaking of course -__-

Move to...

We just moved from Graham, Washington and it was great! Now we're stuck here in Missouri. Ugh.
In Washington you have a few good resorts. Beautiful views, trees, the weather isn't extreme, just rains quite a bit.... but heay, you don't have to worry about watering! :)
It's a bit more expensive out there,... so check out prices.
Have fun,... I wish I was going too!!

I tried Denver

I tried Denver for awhile but it was wicked expensive. Well, somethings were. It was only an hour to the mountains but the traffic coming back to Denver could get hellish. Because eveyone is coming back at the same time. But there was so much to do around there. Blew NY out of the damn water. I miss it needless to say.

Thanks for the reply to my post by the way.

Moving toward the Snow

One possiblity is San Bernardino California.

This Location has multible ski resorts within 30 mintues or less and world class ski resorts within 4 hours.

Rent is inexpenive, but if you want high end you are close to Southern California's prime areas.

Let me know if you want more info. I live in Dana Point, CA.
