60 riders have been selected for the O’Neill Freeride Quest by Nissan – Schruns-Tschagguns (19-21 Jan 2007)
The Nissan Sports Adventure Freeride Tour begins on 19th till the 21st January with the O'Neill Freeride Quest by Nissan qualifier event in Schruns, Austria. At the end of this contest 28 riders will go to the second competition of the Tour: the O’Neill Freeride Quest by Nissan in Flaine (France, Feb 8th-10th) where they’ll meet the pro riders. This Tour will allow 14 freeriders to win one of the tickets for the famous Verbier Xtreme.
Launched last October, the registrations for the Freeride Quest have seen more than 150 riders registered on the websites www.freeridequest.at and www.xtremeverbier.com. A pre-selection has been done on the basis of these application forms and, amongst the 150 candidates, only 60 have been kept. Attracting riders from every corner of the world, no less than 15 nationalities will be represented: AUT, CAN, BUL, SUI, GER, POL, NZ, ARG, RUS, SWE, FRA, GB, NOR, ITA, USA. These riders are invited to Schruns-Tschaguns to take part in the O’Neill Freeride Quest by Nissan from Friday, January 19th till Sunday 21st.
