Ski Patrol will be cracking down hard for speed. Puling passes as people go by. Is there cause for concern when riders speed if controlled? Read the blog and give me your thoughts.

get a rope!!!!
Who is running that joint? All this in reaction to an unbelievably sad occurrence, which resulted in a death on the slopes. Condolences to the family of the deceased. All of us should be taking umbrage with the management at that resort, Dave riley president at Mt. Hood Meadows said in his blog that nobody saw the accident so they don't know what happened, but if you read the blog, snowboarders are being targeted by the pass pullers and blamed for the accident in public sentiment and Riley is not correcting the unjust and slanderous assumption. Riders have long fought for acceptance and this guy is killing our collective reputation, reading the blog it feels like he is hanging boarders out to dry. Meadows in known through out the Patroller community to under staff, evidently to deadly proportions. The accident responsible for all this revamping of procedure did not even occur in a "slow zone", which is where they are pulling passes. Which makes no sense. Its all for appearances sake, they beef up staff, institute new regulations and start pulling passes to give the appearance they are taking some kind of action in light of the accident. It a classic case of cover your ass. Have you read the attitude on this guy, he treats his customers in an unbelievable manner, I would not go there and give that dude a dime. You miss manage your resort with dire consequences, turn around and penalize your customers for your inadequacies, and let boarders take the fall WTF, Put this guy on the list.
