We are all now much stupider from watching that segment. Stay on your side of the Valley kook.
Oh yah, that shit is way more Extreme than the X Games or burl than Davenport skiing all the 14ers. I will bet that your sponsors are stoked on the segment to, poking fun at thier ignorance and basically scamming them for more money.
This shit is gay....... Anyone that likes it should kill themselves or at least go back to rollerblading and quit snowboarding.....
your side of the valley? granted the above exploits were lame, but aren't you from cali or nevada?
is colorado turning into trestles?
Craig Kelly Forever.
Im from DGO, CO. And if you want to compare Aspen to a surf spot I would say its more like Pipe.
Oh yah, everything cool that Millberry did on that dope ledge before hand you just ruined. (RickyBobby)
epitomy of apathy
that was the most well said comment out of all these... and it was only three words. you're a genius todd. you always bring good insight to these topics... and i'm not being sarcastic.
Integrity and arguments aside, that was just lame. I mean, seriously, defend it anyway you want....that was ridiculous.
if course it was ridiculous. it seemed to me like that was the point. mainstream news media, which is normally ridiculous anyway, was convinced to cover a self-promoting publicity stunt.
i think that's awesome. of course it's not something technically amazing, but it's funny as hell. it looked like meyer had fun doing it, and most of the other people in the segment looked like they were having fun too. isn't that the point? what's "gay" or lacking integrity about that?
if you can get a guy like pete meyer the parking guy excited about snowboarding, i'm down with whatever you've got to do.
-- no, you don't want karate.
I don't get it. How is being creative, having fun and punking the media wrong for snowboarding? Every successful pro has to be a self promoter. It's how they make money, right? No one's going to pay someone they never heard of. Is snowboarding in such bad shape that it can't handle a little fun and creativity? Personally, I thought the stunt was hilarious. Does every pro have to promote themselves in the same way every time? If so, snowbaording is going to get f*cking boring.
I don't care if you are trying to make money. But to drive our sport into the ground by doing a stupid stunt like that is the most pathetic shit I have seen in a while. Maybe ever.. WHY???? They is something called, "INTEGRITY"
The most ridiculous thing I've seen in my life. You're taking this to a whole new level Jeff. You're a nice guy, but this is low.
