Sessions to Incorporate d3o Tech for 2007/08 Line

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (January 16, 2007) – Sessions and d3o designers have teamed up, developing new products for the Snow 08 season in its Diffusion first layer program. Once again Sessions has worked to incorporate industry firsts in the snowboard market by providing d3o’s optimal comfort and style while also offering maximum injury protection.

d3o’s unique composition makes it the ideal material for use in snowboard and ski wear. d3o contains intelligent molecules that flow with you as you move but lock together on impact, absorbing the impact’s energy. Under normal conditions d3o is soft and pliable, but on impact the material reacts instantly providing a shock absorbing platform. d3o is flexible and lightweight, yet rivals all conventional protective materials making it a great addition to Sessions first layer garments.

Sessions is placing the d3o technology in the men’s first layer top and bottom pieces. d3o will be placed in direct contact areas such as the elbows and knees to provide shock protection. “I was absolutely amazed with d3o’s technology and excited that they wanted to use Sessions as a platform to showcase their product in the snowboard industry” said CEO and founder Joel Gomez. “We look forward to the future developments with Sessions and d3o.”

ABOUT d3o:

Established in 2001 by CEO Richard Palmer, d3o lab invented and manufactures a revolutionary material for flexible impact protection called d3o technology. d3o is a patented, shock absorbing material with intelligent molecules that flow with you as you move, but on shock, lock together to absorb impact energy. d3o opens up unlimited design possibilities for protective gear that will enable the athlete to maintain control at a high level without being compromised by protective or shock absorbing equipment or products that inhibit their freedom of movement or balance.

With a dynamic growing team led by Richard Palmer and chaired by Hap Klopp, the man who founded the North Face, the company outlook for d3o is as bright as its distinctive orange logo.
