While everyone else in the industry was spooning each other over which party they were going to in Aspen or wondering who’s credential was better for the X-treme games, ROME threw a little party to christen in their new Tahoe House. Los Angeles based band THE COLOUR dropped by and played a surprise show in the living room to a packed house of about 200. Those who braved the icy driveway of death were treated to a debaucherous night of rock and roll, keg beer, and old-fashioned house party fun.

Casey Neefus was causing trouble with Jake Devine, Yale Cousino was rolling around with a posse of east coasters, Max Legendre was cruising with a busted arm from a recent Rome movie film trip, Shawn Durst was hanging, Mike Bettera from Northstar stopped by along with a slew of other northlake locals. The Colour killed it, and broke the house in quite nicely providing everyone in attendance a night to remember (or for some probably not to remember) the boys in blue rolled through finally late night and everyone scattered their separate ways into the night. Big thanks are in order to “The Colour” and the house staff of the new Rome house for making this thing happen and more importantly cleaning up after it.
