Binding silliness

Flows arent' for everyone - duh. Cheaper models aren't as good as the upper end models - duh. I ride nothing but Flows...gave up on the old style a long time ago. Sitting in the snow fastening bindings may be a part of the bonding process for some...I'd rather ride. Over half of the time, I'm off-piste in the backcountry. I'll save my energy for the snowshoeing up and the ride down. No time to waste or energy to waste Eye-wink Still, although I don't ride brand B's bindings, I don't spend a lot of energy flaming them...if you like them, ride them. I do like some of brand B's boards. Must be a reason so many different bindings/boards are made. H'mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

✠™ Hate on this

Lets face it flows suck, if they didnt every manafacturer would have switched over years ago, just like everyone is copying the capstrap now. If you cant do up a pair of bindings quickly then you probably shouldnt be on the mountain - and in powder getting into flows is about as easy as fisting yourself.

If you ride em you arent exactly going to say they suck cos then you would look even more stupid that you already do for ruining your board by putting them on.

I would rather trust the 100% of people who have tried em, discover they are sh!t and gone back to regular bindings than trust the opinions of those who wasted 200 bucks on them and are still justifying purchasing them to themselves.

And when you get paid to ride product your forfeit your right to have a valid opinion, since your job is to read out the opinion your team manager emailed you this morning.

comfort

to the hater who probably never tried FLOW bindings, why don't you ask AUNTI AUTTI or SCOTTY LAGO how they like wedging their feet into FLOWS. it seems to work pretty good for them and me. its not all about following your coolest friend down the hill and wairing the same product as your master being that it sounds like you're someones shadow. FLOW BINDINGS are the most comfortable binding i have ever put my feet into, and for that two extra seconds it takes you to strap in, i'll catching those face shots through knee deep untracked powder that you thought you were going to get first tracks through. so if you have an opinion about something you probably know nothing about go ahead and ask 2005 x-game gold medalist aunti and probably one the best riders out there scoty lago or better yet put your mouth were your keyboard is and go ride like you wish you could. KOOK....

Let your Flow go.

I would ask them but they would just tell me that Flow's are the bomb because they are getting PAID from Flow to say so. Just like if I asked Mark Frank and Kurt Wastell years ago how they liked their shitty Switch bindings. They told me they were the bomb, as in the back of their mind that paycheck was the bomb!
Wedging your foot into the binding. Greatest Flowism yet.
I'm not a Flow hater by the way, I've ridden them and found that they were a nightmare. Straps were it's at dude.

Let your mom go

You don't think the B hasen't thrown stupid offers in their dirrection? Yet they still ride fro Flow....weird?
I am sorry that you had issues figuring them out. When you get them dialed, they are the shit. They take a day or two to get used to the diffrences. They are a diffrent ride than a two strap binder.

i just don't get it.

as we are well aware, snowboarding is all about looks and convenience. what a great idea; let's wedge the rider's foot into the binding rather than secure it down to the board. performance is a mere by-product of technological evolution; an illusion if you will. shit, who wouldn't give up 2 seconds of their entire life to strap in faster in leiu edge control and progression?! i've got a great idea, to maintain balance in the universe those who use flow bindings should be required to use a rotary phone with all the time they save by not strapping in. and another thing... every snowboarder needs to learn how to strap in STANDING UP. IT'S NOT THAT DIFFICULT! but yeah, the minx does look pretty hot, and it matches my jacket. my deepest apologies if i've offended any flow lovers out there but expand your horizons and help raise the bar for snowboarding and yourself!! godspeed!!

What?????

Bro.....where did you that info? Ovbiously not first hand. See the cable that connects from the top of the binder to the middle of the baceplate. Every heelside turn that cable is pulling from the middle of the binder rather then the back. Way quicker reaction and holds a much stronger heel edge. Not to mention it's lighter than most binder on the market. Any retard can figure that out first run on the hill. Try thinking for yourself rather than passing on some kook rumor. It's you who needs to "expand your horizons."

Flow bindings rock! I've been

Flow bindings rock! I've been using them for years and love em.

any better?

flow seems to be really stepping up a bit. but i have to ask, do they work as good as strap bindings yet? i had amp5's 2 years ago, and i will never go back to flow because of those.

Yes...better

Amp5's were their bottom-rung bindings...try their higher-end ones, and you will LOVE them. Also, in the last few years they've gotten lighter. No going back. Smiling

hmm, it is definetly a toss up between the minx and the essence.
