Thank You Mark

About 2 years ago, I first stumbled across this site. I was a new father and recovering snowboard shop owner. As a result I held a bit of resentment to the industry and had very little time to take it out on the hill. This site and community revived my confidence in the people behind the sport and kept my stoke going through-out the year. You have truly built a special site and magazine, for that I thank you. Best of luck in your next endeavour and stay in touch, that Pan Am snowboard rally may be coming together after all.

Baker, Pancho, and Basher keep up the great work and keep it right.

Long live creativity, adventure, and snowboarding,

Seth

Good Style, Son...

SNOWBOARD Mag is a success, based on what it represents in my eyes. I've always appreciated the mentality, layout and style of the mag from the get-go. The clean spread, pages dedicated to quality shots and easy reading has kept it a coffee table mag for me. The Community always appreciates a fresh, down-to-earth point of view from riders and a good, clean shot- which is always delivered in each issue of SNOWBOARD. Plus, the mag definitely rocks my personal KISS philo... 'keep it simple and stylie'. Its not about all your flair on the hill, its how you rock what you got... and you guys have done well by that one.

This site is a refreshing experience as well. Its an open, honest forum that's not full of egos- which is way too common on any level of any industry. Thank you for your part in this mag, Mark... much luck in whatever you do next... Ride On. : )

make sure the skiboarders don

make sure the skiboarders don't take over. i get their magazine and i don't want to see any articles on Paul Mitchell's hair tips with Shaun White.

So true . . . i was seriously questioning my stoke before i stumbled upon these shores, and it helped remind me that snowboarding is not the wigga/emo/punk fashion parade as portrayed in the wider shred media, but still a group of like minded people who will go to extrodinary lengths just to slide sideways.

The time i have spent on this site always makes me wonder why someone doesnt set up a company (or IMO start up Solid again) which is aimed at the older shred head and has a team of ol skool legends knocking out some quality decks with the benefit of years of experiance going itto the design

I know stepchild has kinda done this with the recent ranquet and kidwell pro models, but i for one would be knocking on the dor of any company that was doing that sh!t.
