Tahoe Gettin' Pounded with New Snow

SNOWBOARD Tahoe resident Tawnya Schultz sent in these photos from her house right down the road from the Village at Squaw Valley. The entire Lake Tahoe region has seen multiple FEET of snow over the last week, and all systems are go for this weekend's big Vans Cup at Northstar. Look for powder patrol updates this weekend as Lucky, Gary, Tawnya and I descend on the scene searching out the fresh snow.

Finally! We got hit really good up here in the Sierras and Sierra @ Tahoe got a good, dry dump as well, 2-4 feet of freshies alll over the place. Yesterday was the BEST powder-bird day of the year yet. From 9 to 4 we had bluebird conditions and tree stashes were plentiful. Let it snow, let it snow... Mama Nature, Let It Snow! :D
