The Vans Cup is in full swing with the Rail Jam and Slopestyle in the books, and the Superpipe underway right now. The Snowboarder Magazine party last night was off the hook too, so look for a couple more SUPERPOSTS to come soon. For now, enjoy some highlights from Saturday's action.

Our morning was spent cruising around the mountain, checking out Northstar's massive parks and looking for hidden stashes of pow. There's great signage at Northstar, with dope little logos for each area of the mountain posted throughout the resort.

The Stash...oh yeah.

The Northstar Park Crew is meticulous with the rakes.

We hooked up with Satellite's Raul Pinto for a few park laps.

There are all kinds of jibs at Northstar.

Up downs.

Flat downs.

Up flat down, etc.

Good booters everywhere too.

Of course, you know us...we were on the hunt for freshies after Tahoe's big dumps last week. Our search led us to a misty rope tow that leads to the backside.

Go west, my son.

The mission was well worth it, as we found Lookout Mountain with some nice vistas under bluebird skies.
The Grenade Bob Gnarley's were perfect for the warm spring conditions.

There were a few turns here and there, and we tracked up the rest of the remaining pow.

Tawnya had good spill into the soft stuff.

That's when the google wipes come in handy, and there's no better ones than the trail map edition.

Fernie, one of the best.

It was nice to get away from the crowds for a little while.

But Northstar's a pretty big mountain, so we started to head back to the frontside to check out the contest.

When we got back to the contest, Jacqui Berg and Drea Russell were chillin' on the couch at the bottom of the course. Best seat in the house.

Course from the top.

DC's Aaron Biittner.

There were a few SNOWBOARD fans in the house, like Christina and Trevor from Sun Valley, ID.

Bigs up to Jamie, once again, this time pullin' down Third Place. Everyone was fired up and ready for the big party at The Biltmore Casino in Kings Beach. Wait'll you see those photos, coming up later tonight. Look for plenty more action shots to come too from yesterday and today's events.
