Rome Agent vs. Graft

Right now, im stuck between the Agent and the Graft. I love riding park, but on the other hand love a good powder day with some tree lines or just bombing runs. I like a soft board so i was leaning toward the graft, but don't know if it will hold up to the backcountry and high speeds.

Good call....

Both boards are insanely sick. I personally ride the Graft 55 and I can honestly say it is the most fun/best all around board I have ever ridden. It comes down to construction too, I bombed powder runs at the Aspen Highland Bowl and smoked everybody in my group, so don't be worried about holding up in backcountry at all. We were in 3 plus feet of fresh and the thing floated like a dream and it is so supportive under highspeeds. If you are purchasing a 06/07, the shapes are definately different for both boards. The agent is a twin, while the Graft is an "almost twin" but I've still not been able to find a difference in the shape and I ride half the day switch anyways. The 06/07 Graft has a more aggressive sidecut to it, while the 06/07 Agent is more of a blunt-shape. The Graft also has bi-axl glass with Carbon reinforcements in the nose and tail, but not in between the feet, so you get all the smooth buttery-ness in your nosepress and boardslides, but get the pop and power of carbon without the stiffness of a full carbon strung board. The Agent features tri-axl glass with carbon also, but it weighs slightly more than the Graft. Both feature Impact plate technology which is going to prevent rail damage to the base of both boards. Both boards are going to shred your hill better than anyboard out there, but I'd say if you are in for some serious hot laps along with your fun park days, go with the 06/07 Graft. Hope this helps!

I ride the Graft 157

I'm a big fan of the graft. I was looking at an agent as it comes in bigger sizes, but the graft 157 floats my 180 lbs just fine except on the deepest days. Nice and soft, but can handle speed decently well.
