Today was the day of the annual Log Master’s contest at Beaver Creek. Tee time was 8:30am witch is kinda hurting for the morning after Saint Patrick’s Day, but with blue bird skies every one was ready to go. Wookie separated out the groups and asigned 2 judges per squad. Then it was off to the top of the mountain for log number one.

i had a lady puke over three rows of passengers the day of the log masters...the first thing i thought was, i should be in beaver creek, getting my bonk on, drinking beer with you instead of dealing with this bullshit.

great fotos matty! i finally found enough battery power to upload a few fotos of group 5, well maybe it was 6. franzini and i drove over to the vail valley a little late to meet up with wookie and a crew that came from summit. thankfully the crew from summit just barely squeezed in the game...

this was my first ever mission to the logging championships. between friends, riders, wookie, kurto and tim...the best event EVER!!!

moses told me he had been talking with wookie about adding a stop to this epic contest, maybe the breck cup. this "wood" mean a long summer of log constructing for next years series. moses is no stranger to summers up on the hill. splinter city.

This Saturday as we drove past Beaver Creek my buddy mentioned to me when is the log masters? And of coarse we had no idea it was the next day had we known we prob would have gone... I know part of the beauty of the Log Masters is its underground and not publicized but is there a specific day its on every year? I would like to attend next years...
