Chevrolet Evolution Tour - Killington Results

Evo tour sirst stop

KILLINGTON, Vt. (Feb. 16) – The first stop of the Chevrolet Evolution Tour blasted through Killington Saturday and Sunday. Powder, wind, more powder and then clear sunny days with bearable temperatures set a precedent for how events should be on the East coast. With over 120 riders competing throughout the weekend, the top-notch venues provided a great atmospher for riders earning invitations to the Switzerland-bound 2005 U.S. Junior World Championship team along with the 2005 Project Gold summer camps at Windell’s Camp at Mt. Hood.

Honor, glory and international trips weren’t the only bounty awarded at the Killington event, though. The top 19-under, unsponsored male and female halfpipe riders were awarded a Palmer Possee snowboard sponsorship, and the top-three slopestyle riders took home prize money courtesy of Level Gloves. On Saturday night, athletes competed in a three-option rail jam with cash purse to the delight of weekend masses.

Here’s how results shook down:
