Altered Genetics

Anyone ride one? Right now im riding a custom 158 but will be looking into a new board next season. I am looking at the GNU Altered Genetics, or the Lib Tech TRS MT. Heard the Altered was a little stiffer than the TRS. Anyone know how these boards compare to the Custom.

i have never ridden an altered genetics deck but the shape appears more tapered and directional, if you will, than the trs (which is, as you mentioned, softer in flex).

i think it depends on what type of terrain/riding you like to do most; if you are more park orientated the trs would seem to be a better fit, i think.

I have the TRS MT 159 and dem

I have the TRS MT 159 and demoed the Altered 159, great all mountain boards. They ride fairly similar to a Custom, maybe a little more pop and stability.
