holden jackets

well i asked the local shop and apparently prices for next years holden stuff is goin up, so i decided to maybe get one of this seasons jackets for cheaper since its end of season, my two picks are either the spectator jacket, or the leeds stripe jacket, which one is better? i believe both are more of a shell

all prices go up in life on a day to day basis. you probably do not know this, dumb ass kid, as your parents pay for everything. the rest of us call it inflation, you call it...jee wizzz, should i get the candy cane stripe jacket or the caramel, honey, brown leg warmers? fag (no offense to my gay peeps, love you all).

given the apparent fact that you will not hike above the last box in the park (joey jib ramone), i think you should save your money; buy neither jacket and spend your step doots money on a leeds united scarf.

and to answer you remark about how my parents pay for everything, im 16, working this summer and parents will not pay a dime for a piece of snowboard(equipment, clothing, etc.) unless it is for xmas,

i dont have a "full" time job and i dont plan on paying 250 for a jacket next year since things like boards and bindings are more important than how you look, so that is why i asked the question about the jackets, i found them for cheaper and they still look good quality, i havent been around holden for awhile and thats why i dont know, yes im a dumbass with holden, there you have it

And responding to the topic- late season sales are a GREAT way to buy good product at a decent price. Lots of places will be offering great deals- both online and in the shops- so it pays to identify the product you want and then hunt it down.

I see a lot of holden stuff fall apart. Maybe they stepped it up, but I've def seen some poor quality gear from them in past years. the company seems rad though. Stripes are trendy. Its also super sweet when riders start companies and charge a bunch for their products. like andy reynolds starting altamont where you can buy a sweet pair of skate jeans for 80 dollars! What skaters have 80 bucks to throw down on a pair of pants? oh ya the ones whose ma and pa pay for everything. thats most of em these days. don't mean to bash leblanc. cost of everything goes up with oil. I don't drink wine. try sessions maybe? hear thats some good stuff.

Yo man, if you want the best in the buisness, you have to go with Holden. Although other companies are going for either super technical features (which you don't end up using anyways) or super kooky (bright ass colors that everyone thinks will make them stand out, but they all buy the same jacket and all look the same), Holden holds it down as the best style in the game. As far as your selections go, both are more of a shell, compared to the more insulated down or 20 grand materials, both are a great jacket. Personally, the Leeds jacket is more stylish, as far as combines a little bit more technical feature to the mix. The Specator is way more straight forward, but does the job as a great jacket with a great fit. If you can find the Leeds jacket, go with it. It has a huge storm flap on the front to keep the snow out, plus the snowgaiters in the wrists, which the Spectator does not have. Purple and Green are the best colors for the Leeds hands down, get your hands on it for a good cost. Prices are going up but so is quality for next year, but if you gotta save some cash, buy 07 stuff, it's still great! And as far as "falling apart" goes, I'd like to see a Holden jacket "fall apart", I know tons of people who run the stuff and have a hard time even getting stains on them!

i was maybe thinkin the whitish leeds jacket, but still not sure, does most holden stuff fit same lenght wise? because i will be ordering online and the only jacket my local shop has is the spectator, so i can try that and then buy the leeds online?

Yup!

Most of the Holden jackets fit pretty much the same, I've found, except for the down jackets, which for me fit a little shorter. But you're not looking at a down jacket anyway, so... yeah. Oh and if you can find that off-whiteish color of the Leeds, go for it. Even though the green and purple ones are sick, so is the white one. Just make sure you don't have like tannish-white pants too, or no one will be able to find you! Hah, just kidding.

i asked a friend and he said the spectator was a spring jacket, but, i also looked at the local shop and one of the spectator jackets was called the dl spectator, and another, just"spectator"
