Winter is not over yet! A storm rolled through Mammoth yesterday and dropped more than a foot of fresh snow on the mountian. Today is shaping up to be an incredible day - skies are mostly clear with a few clouds lingering out there and calm winds. Currently at Main Lodge the temperature is 23 degrees but temps are expected to reach the 40's today.
The good news for all you powder hounds out there is that the top of the mountain plus Chairs 12, 13 and 14 never opened up during the storm so that means there are lots of fresh turns out there for the taking! This is the day to call in sick and head up for some fresh powder.
After avalanche control work is complete this morning we're expecting to operate all lifts with the exception of 7, 9, 20, 25 and 26. All lifts are wind and weather permitting and lift status could change, check back for updates.
Thanks to all the new snow Eagle Lodge will continue to operate through the end of next weekend. Services available at Eagle will be lift access, tickets sales, rentals, and the coffee bar.
Spring Fest stars today! don't miss out on all the great deals and activities going on during Mammoth's celebration of spring. Lift tickets are on SpringFest pricing and that means they're $63 for adults.
