Lucid Notion’s First Annual End of the Season Party “Super Post!”

Denver, CO

Sunday the 29th of April 2007 started as many Lucid Notion Snowboard Company functions generally begin. There is a meeting of the minds… a couple of beers (primarily for social purposes) and then it’s off to the event.

Last Sundays event however was no normal gathering as it was the First Annual “End of the Season” party for Colorado Snowboarding… and a Punk Rock Show featuring three of the best bands Denver has to offer. Lucid Notion Snowboards Team Rider Travis Limoge had to get prepared if he were to leave his mark on this one.

This seasons party was hosted by Shane, Jamie and Johnnie over at The Loft in Denver Colorado. Located in Downtown Denver, The Loft is a posh nightclub owned and operated by the aforementioned collage buddies.

Through some strange arrangement… Lucid Notion’s owners were allowed to turn their club into a lively Punk Rock Venue. And after a few hours work, turn it they did!

Early to arrive for the show, Denver Skateboarding and Punk Music Legend Jim Clark (Aka: Punk Rock Jim from LBRO) cracked a cold one and enjoyed one last moment of silence before the mayhem began.

07.LN. 06

With the crowd arriving by the tens…

07.LN. 07

it was time for Scott Anderson (Lucid Notion Snowboard Company Co-Owner ) and Meatloaf (The Loft’s Bartender Extraordinaire) to make a contingency plan should things get out of hand.

07.LN. 08

And with LBRO on stage to start things off… who knows what could happen.

07.LN. 09

At around 9:30 PM LRBO lit up the stage giving Denver’s Snowboard and Skateboard scene a good dose of authentic Punk Rock and an even better dose of humor.

07.LN. 10

It was time to head out front the club to make sure the line at the door was moving. Outside on the corner of 22nd and Champa waiting to get in was none other then Colorado’s Tranzaction Snowboard Crew!

07.LN. 11

They arrive late as usual…. and brought plenty of Monster Energy Drink to keep the party going.

Back in the club… lovely ladies abound….

07.LN. 12

and LBRO finished their set with the crowd screaming for more!

07.LN. 13

Lucid Notion Team Rider Travis Limoge took a second in-between sets to plant one on a shocked young fan…

07.LN. 14

and Ruben from Suburban Hostage took it all in prior to the beginning of their set.

Punk Rock Jim (Right) and Suburban Hostage’s Biggest Fan (In the yellow on the left)

07.LN. 16

give a thumbs up to the sound check….

07.LN. 17

and…Suburban Hostage begins its destruction of The Loft with a style of Punk Rock that you really have to hear or see to believe!

07.LN 18

Obviously pleased with the previous performances…

07.LN. 19

Lucid Notion Co-Owner Ryan Peterson prepares for another Denver music legend…Skate, Snowboard Reggae Punk and Hip-Hop specialists…. P-Nuckle!

07.LN. 20

(P-Nuckle rocked The Loft for the next 2 hours… and in that time the battery on the camera taking photos for this “Super Post” died. Scrounging for another battery in the trunk of the Lucid Notion Passat would have taken time from enjoying the sounds and environment created by Denver’s P-Nuckle. We as a snowboard company apologize to Chris, Cliff and everyone else in P-Nuckle for not having more photos. Next time they play a show on behalf of The Lucid Notion Snowboard Company… the batteries will be fully charged!)

The Lucid Notion Snowboard Company would like to thank The Loft’s Super-Tender, Meatloaf who took care of making all the drinks…

07.LN. 21

as his hired henchman made sure payment was received for Lucid Notion’s exorbitant tab.

07.LN. 22

With all the fun over for this season... it was off to Lucid Notion Snowboard World HQ in Downtown Denver for the after party.... and we really can't show any of those photos.
