I think the fact that you rode for Burton for 5 years and made nothing out of yourself there, and now are an am for flow says more about your style and ability than anything i could possibly muster.

Flow is an innovative company making some interesting products that try to make our day up the hill a little bit better. The fact that the product doesn't do that is neither here or there, i admire them for trying, but f++k me if i cant understand how they let retards like you loose to promote their product.

I actually SNOWBOARD FOR FLOW. I rode for burton for over 5 years, and went to flow starting last winter. There is nothing inferior about their product. When I am riding, it doesnt feel any different then any 2 strap bindings.. well, i get more heel edge responce actually which is a good thing, and they are more comfortable (no joke its called physics. full cover strap = better force distrobution = less pressure per sq. inch). so yes, it is a bit hurting because all of this hating is coming from KNOW-NOTHING INSIGNIFICANTS LIKE YOURSELF. The only people who hate on flow are people outside the snowboard industry who know nothing about real snowboarders. people like yourself. Alot of people in the industry respect flow, because even though it is a different design, our team is still as competitive as any other company's teams, and the product doesn't hold us back in any way. Please return your brain to K-mart and get a new one. I think its defective. better yet... /quit life.

check your sources on the interweb.. that website knows nothing about the binding upgrade. they make it to be a recall, where in actuality, it was making the bolt from 3 pieces into 2. there was nothing wrong with the original part except that if it came apart, you would need a wrench and a screwdriver to get it off. the upgrade made it so that you would only need a screwdriver. sorry to rain on your gay pride parade. Yup really sounds like you guys did it just to make it easier to adjust, more like law suits on the horizon to me . . . If you are a recreational snowboarder who just likes to cruze the hill, then flows or K2 Cinchs are a good option, but none of these easy access bindings are as yet a viable alternative to a conventional set up . . in Europe Flow got big sales by focussing on this and factoring that your average weekend warrior wouldnt know or give a shit about gangster steeze, EMO,tigt pants etc, but just would want to have a good day on the hill, and because of this sensible thinking Flow have collared this part of the market in Eurodisney land.These are the people with the dollars to burn, andthe more mainstream the sport gets the more they will be the demographic who buys the most product.

If you guys focused on that you would do better, as it is K2 ( a company i trully detest) have stolen your thunder by pitching to this market. A lot of flow riders i know have now switched to Cinchs, even though the flows are a better product.

I just find it a bit pathetic that you are going down the truly un original route of Wigga marketing - i watched last seasons flow video that came free with Methodmag in Europe, and most of it was made up of clips from other vids or ESPN etc, and it had exactly the same play on words for title as it does this year . . Antti and risto definately werent top 3 in almost every stadium big air event they went to. Lago definately didnt get 2nd in the vans cup slopestyle on them, I sure as hell didnt get 2nd at a grand prix or a 5th at the us open on them, and NONE OF US rode them all winter and filmed our little movie in HDV all winter, and for sure, none of us rode with them at superpark.. oh wait, we did. One of my friends Ian thorley (you may have heard of him.. I believe he won a grand prix) broke his atomics, and rode a pair of my nxts for a few days and was sold on them. The fact that you dont believe they are 'viable' shows how little you know about snowboard product, and that you have never even tried a pair of flows shows that you have no room to be making comments on it because you dont have any clue about them other then what you read on the interwebs.

Dont even try and play the reliability card either. have you seen anyone break a pair of burtons?? I personally watched 2 of my friends completely break the binding off of the base, so that they had the base and toe straps on the board, and heel hoop/ankle strap in their hand walking down the hill. I have seen a heel hoop on the cartels shattered into 100 pieces. I broke a pair of P1's in 8 places. I have snapped a metal buckle in half when I was strapping in (just the metal lever). I have shattered baseplates, I have even ripped the inserts out of an un-inc. I watched my friend break a pair of bent metals in half, and I have personally broken more then my fair share of binding ladder straps and bolts. Just out of fairness, yes, I have seen people break the highbacks on flows, but what do you expect to happen when you come up short or overshoot a 70+foot jump. for you to point out that pod and use it as your whole arguement is so insignificant it converges on 0 on the matters scale. Its the TOE STRAP too. so even if it were to somehow come off(still physically impossible) its not like you are coming out of the bindings. I have broken so many toe straps in my 12 years on these funny snow planks that its not even an issue to me. flow should be credited with the fact that they actually publicly released a fix for a part to make the binding better. I can't even begin to describe to you how many bindings I have ridden that certain parts were designed terribly and werent fixed. There is a real world out past the interweb and the snowboard-mag blogs. go get a life, and maybe some experience in the REAL WORLD you kook.

First of all, if the plastic comes off, it still cant detatch from the binding. I rode with most of my straps like this in the begining of the year, and none of them came off (I actually found that I liked them free-floating because there wouldnt be any awkward pressure on the ladder strap at any time, and they(ladder straps) wouldnt break. They said that because they had to in the off chance one does come off (which would be physically impossible because of the hex head bolt on the other side) When the plastic comes off, you would need a wrench and a screw driver to remove it. Its called covering your ass on the legal side. I rode 200+ days on the nxt's and never had any of them come off or break. YOU KNOW NOTHING.
