MDP's 'The Morning Out of Austin' Teaser

Snow, wind and 20 degree temps are a normal part of snowboarding. Exposed on a Harley across highways and over mountain passes, these elements took on a whole new meaning to the ordinary road trip. This is ‘The Morning Out of Austin.’

Coming October ’07 will be an exclusive, limited edition DVD brought to you by SNOWBOARD, Mack Dawg Productions, and Jeremy Jones. Filmed entirely in high def, this short film is the vision of snowboarding legend, Jeremy Jones and MDP director, Brad Kremer that will blend the cutting edge action of a MDP movie along the lifestyle feel of an “indy” film.

This true multimedia collaboration will offer a free DVD bound into the November issue of SNOWBOARD along with a feature story with photography by Rob Mathis, Mark Welsh and Pasi Salminen. So be on the lookout to get your hands on a copy of this insane flick.

Jesus man. These guys need to bring snowboarding back to snowboarding movies.

This is my gripe with this shit. Picture This sucked. It was like 20 minutes long, and alot of good riding was left out of the movie and thrown into the "Cutting Room Floor" section. How come.

Second of all, Picture This cannot hold the nutsack of We're People Too. Now that is a snowboarding movie. Great riding and the guys looked like the busted their ass all season getting those "stock bangers" as JJ loves to call them.

Well here is an idea about getting the stock bangers. Go fuckkin get em'! Stop trying to make snowboard movies about a bunch of dudes riding motorcycles up to the mountain. Next, we are going to see people doing this in real life and probably getting in motorcycle accidents because of it. LAME.

Do you think JJ and those guys know how retarded they look riding bikes @ 5mph going up a mountain pass....? Is it just me???

wall to wall

the riding, even considering how short a segment it was in this movie and how few of the riders even got a shot the riding was sick. Wall to wall rides, the up down rail that's some innovative crazy shit! For a documentary I think it's a good movie that many different kinds of people with many different interests (motorcycles, snowboard, film, travel) would dig but for a straight snowboard movie it definitely needs some more riding. but good music, pretty men, and it was free I really can't complain.

BANG! Spoken Word Artist Jeremy Jones really nails it with this one and preps you for the ride of your life. Wow, Maybe not quite as genious as the "KILL IRAQ" Stickers JJ produced but almost. The existence of this "indy"- flick is a sheer miracle, seriously.

You know...I watched it, 2 weeks later i was back in the shop to request those 15 mins of my life back- GO FIGURE.

It´s spelled "indie" by the way.

I can summerize with one word...

GAY. I am with TR on it. This has got to be the worst concept since all over print.

Ride motorcycles to the snow? Winshields and heaters were invented for a reason... Bike Car had a novel concept. This is a stretch.

Here's a better concept. Jeremy Jones goes on a USO tour to IRAQ to support the troops (and his president) - only when he gets there nobody recognizes him or cares. He then takes a Huey to the mountains strafing villages of Oil mongering Iraqis on his way to get some buttery pow.

looks alot like the movie im doing, "i cant believe your not gay " where i rollerblade from boston to breckenridge in speedos in january. its almost exactly the same except for the snowboard footage and the motorcycles.

Yeah, not much into moto-street here either, but anything by Brad Kremer alongside jibbin Jeremy Jones is gonna be money...

aha.. good ole dirt hole Austin, Nevad'er... I used to play sports with them in HS. Jeee-haa, talk about dirt-towns NV. They are quite bountiful over there. Don't blink.. you'll miss em. Then again, blink... you just might want to. : )
