I hate stupid people

I had the Better Business Bureau of California called on my store (where I'm in charge) because we wouldnt let a guy return a skateboard that had already been gripped and put together when our policy clearly states there are no returns because he felt we are dircriminatory and do not inform customers of our policies even though IT SAYS SO RIGHT ON THE RECEPIT!!!!! now we're being investigated becasue it looks like he's got a friend in the Bureau and he's got a bone to pick... and this all happened when I was off for a few days and now im the one who has to deal with it!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

i need a drink...

Never heard of one. (unless they're friends, of course! Eye-wink )

Drink it up and laugh it off... the kid's got no power when its written out so plain and simple. Let him waste his energy being a punk, while you sip on a cold one and laugh at his ignorance. Its not worth wasting any more of your energy over, Metz... you know you're in the right here- legally and business ethics-wise.

ahhh.the better business bureau.What a joke.I work in the auto industry in finance to be particular.You can imagine how many complaints we get to them.They ae supposedly there to protect consumers againt injustices that are legit.They really need some kind of screening process because half of the time the shit they are investigating is a joke.especially in this case.I would tell the kid to file a date with small calims and go there and watch the judge make a fool of him.If your policy is clearly printed on your receipt you should have no issue and most judges will make an example of someone so stupid.it could be priceless.good luck.

BBB

The BBB is a scam man. Watch them come back at you like the mob saying "If you sign up with us and become a member of our Bureau we can protect you. You can reply to this accusation and write a letter." Bullshit. All they do is hound you for you membership fee.
Since you are not a member they will not let you respond to the accusation. If you are, they will let you write a letter denying the accusation but then nothing happens after that anyways.
