valle nevado, chile

anyone been? my dad and brothers are thinking about maybe making a trip this summer

Yeah its sick.

Valle Nevado is pretty sweet, its sunny, has dry powder snow, and beautiful women. Can't go wrong. Read this article from the first time I went there, and check out the rest of the site for Chile videos, photos, and info. Plus I made the movie Funner Filete: From Baker to Chile, which has over an hour of footage from Chile and its available on here as well. http://www.funner.us/travels/chile.html

I have that DVD, and there's

I have that DVD, and there's no way to watch it without getting completely stoked to go there someday.

Just got back

I was just there all last week. Tons of snow already and no one really around to track it up. The only crazy part was the sketchy drive up to the area... You are required to have chains after a certain point, there's something like 40 hairpin turns, and everyone seems to think it's fine to just stop in the middle of the road to put the chains on. I think we left Santiago at 8 AM and arrived at the hill around noon. Other than that it kicked ass - Lots of fun terrain and not all the restrictions that you'd find at a U.S resort.

A couple of other areas are up there too. El Colorado and La Parva I think they were called.

that looks awesome

now i want to go very badly
