Crail Or Indy? Photo:Brandon Sequoia

Brent Meyer Vail Pass Indy Tweak... Or is it Crail? You tell me!! Photo: Brandon Sequoia

No such thing

As an indy off a cliff

hmm

'tis a frontside air then? I understand frontsides and indies in the pipe, but not outside of the pipe. Preach, Pancho!

Trick names

I will never preach, only offer my two sense. If someone disagrees, speak up...but the only true Indy is on a backside wall or hit, preferably vert. Not a drop. Didn't Chris Miller or someone like that invent the indy? Bumblebee or Booterman will know.

K

No need to preach - just my cheesy way of "pray thee tell." ;o)

So if it ain't on the backside wall of a pipe, it's a frontside air as far as your understand it? Even stuff off kickers and such?

I don't know

Everything is so common now that I don't think it really matters, but back in the day there were debates. This whole "indy grab" thing has always been an issue. Regardless though, if it's a cliff drop it's not a true indy air.

indy grab

pancho's right, a true indy is f/s grab on a b/s wall. (a la duane peters in skating). between the legs - no tindys!! seems like nowadays many kids call f/side airs indys. yikes. i suppose the line blurs a bit if b/s spin is grabbed f/s, or if a hip is involved......
definitely not a straight air!

damn injury

look at all the fun i'm missin out on with the crew.

Don't let your meat loaf, and keep your barrel steril!

you'd have a better argument for a 'lien air or a mellon'. and it's definetly NOT a lien air-just as it is not crail or an indy.

i love skateboarding.
