DVS knows how to travel right.
Words and Lifestyle shots by Tawnya Schultz. Action by Ian Mcleod.
The big red bus made a stop in the Hood this week with members of the DVS skate team and special guest Mark Frank Montoya. The boys sessioned the variety of concrete and wood Windells has to offer and needless to say they were graciously stoked. Daewon Song, Jeron Wilson, Mikey Taylor, and Torey Pudwill were among the pros that made their way on the long trek from So Cal to film and kick it for the three day mission.

MFM knows what’s up in the bowl.

The first stop was the Department of Skateboarding in Portland, the bowl at High Cascade, then on to Windells where they stayed the first night filming until 12 a.m. They came back the next day to demo inside BOB. Campers, counselors, and many kids from surrounding areas came through to catch a glimpse of skateboarding’s elite. As part of the DVS snow program Marco joined in the sesh flossin’ his own skills and claiming high airs in the bowl. Skateboarding is a huge part of Marco’s roots and he definitely held it down with the best of them. After the demo the crew hung out enjoying a ribs camp dinner with all the fixings and visited the Snackmosphere Shack for some ice cream. Yum. Big ups to everyone at DVS for rollin’ through the Hood. Good times. Check out more of the DVS team at www.dvsshoes.com. Also www.windells.com and Windells highlights for extended info.
