On friday night, Fuel TVs Daily Habbit features Kurt Wastell. On Fuels site it has SOLID Snowboards
down as a sponcer of his. Mabe He'll tell us if SOLID is coming back for sure. I know Ill be watching.

I may have lost it.. but indications on the A Mordo and Son Website (and remember that A Mordo is a Bike Company and not a Snowboard Company) show me that Sapient as a "Snowboard Company" no longer exists. This indication comes to you by the way that there is no "snowboarding" part of their homepage.... and now Wastell is "trying" to re-create a "NEW" snowboard "brand."

And your explanation is this: Wastell... et el... are in the process of resurecting a lost brand of the 90's that never did shit: "Solid Mfg."

But... you believe what you want to...

In a given day... I am not the judge...nor am I the jury.. but if I were "Solid" I would find somewhere other then Mark Frank Montoya's factory in Communist China (Biltrite Mfg) to make my boards so I don't look as dumb as Todd Richards looks now for making a deal with The Sports Authority and manufacturing my "industry leading snowboards" in China all to make them "affordable for the kids!"

China? Wrong. Solid had samples made at many manufactures, and yes did have some made at Biltrite. But after riding all that was out there they have gone with a manufacture that is right here in the good ol US of A. With a name like SOLID they wanted to make sure that there boards were just that, SOLID. Also , no Kurt did not create Sapient, he just was Pro for them.

I'm pumped SOLID is back. It stood for so much more than just where the boards were made. And I know the tight group behind them will kill it like they used to.
