Any experience with celsius?

I'm thinking about getting the Celsius CLS 6's and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. Any input would be appreciated. I would be using them in conjunction with Burton Cartel Bindings.

seriously...

...just go and try lotz on. spend time in the boot(s) in the shop, give the heat sensitive liners time to adapt to your foot, if it evens wants to. it takes time with boots, mad time. wide or narrow foot?

I had a pair...

I had a pair of Cirrus' before Northwave was nice enough to start flowing me gear- they were really wide in the forefoot. I put in custom insoles and still slopped around in them. If I was going 32's I'd recommend the Lashed model. I'm really digging on my NW 3's though- it's like wearing a sneaker....

I'd definitely find someplace to try on boots before you buy them, everybodys feet are different.

like jp says, the first year celsius came out peeps were not too into them because of their football field-wide-footbeds.

however, i've heard, last year their stuff was fitting a lot better (most likely because of team input, etc.) and this year's stuff looks fairly nice.

the thing that scares me about their 08 bladders is that they come with j-bars/boomerangs to reduce ankle/heel lift and negative spacing. when burton switched their liner systems to have these, i never got a proper fit.

the best way to get information is to contact the rep (which i have no problem posting all his information), instead of getting a bunch of fat kids' perspectives via the internet on something they have never stepped foot in, let a lone ridden (with exception to jp).

here is the pa, ny, nj celsius rep info:

Ya

Not to hate....but ew on Celsius. Bad fit, would fit even worse in Burtons. Thirttytwo all the way homey.

Anything Specific

Are there any by 32 that you would recommend above others?

Depends..

what kind of riding do you do? How often do you ride, and how flashy do you want to get?

Lashed

I actually went to my local shop and after trying a couple differnt types on I decided on 32 Lashed. I wore it around the shop for a while and it was super comfortable. I also tried on the pair of Celsius they had which was also comfortable but not as much so as the Lashed.

yea

i have had a couple friends that had them and they fell apart really fast

i really dont know about celsius

but didnt you learn from everyone saying get union bindings haha, guess not

wtf is snow? i ride at bear

Its not that I didnt learn

I checked them out and they look super chinsy to me. Nobody gave me any real insight on them besides they were decent quality for the price. I have however talked to people that have had cartels and loved them with no complaints at all. I just don't know anything about unions.

They're good.
